I gave this book 5 stars because it deserves nothing less. It is an easy read with short chapters. Each one filled with golden nuggets from Elijah's life from his strengths to his failures. The author brought out things I had not considered before nor had ever read in any other book on Elijah's life. There are lessons here that every Christian should take note of and apply to their life. I can honestly say this book helped to change my life. The short chapters would make this book a good devotional. If read without spending contemplative time on each chapter one would miss the many points the author makes about Elijah and that is so applicable to all our lives. No library should be without this book.Product details

Great book. Many insights.
An awesome read! To the point and helpful. It has made me think and make some changes in my life. My desire to serve became what I wanted to do for God. Have I been called to where I'm serving - telling God what I am going to do, or have I been called to where "there" is for me?
Good study of the book along with practical application for today's deciple
If you like learning about the people in the bible, this is the best one i have read. This book kept my interest so it went very fast.
I loved this book I went through it in a few sittings. Wonderful study on Elijah when much isn't written study wise in him that I have found. We simple but profound. I would recommend for those starting out in bible study and those learned as well. Andrew Wommack is a very underrated teacher in my estimation.
